I’m usual to go there and the service has never been as bas as described here.
This restaurant is not a place where you can have food quickly, it is a place to relax.
Take a beer or a cocktail, which are cheap, and you’ll have no wait for the food.
You definitely can’t say that the food is bland.
I usally go for pad thai or massaman gkai, and they’re OK.

Been to this place twice and was really unimpressed

The decor is really cool authentic Thai style, but the air-con/fans here are crap and the place gets too hot

Waited about 25minutes for the food to arrive, and when it did I was let down.

Portions wont spoil the shape of your mouth, and it was all fairly bland. Me and the ladyboy who took me had SomTam, spring rolls, grilled chicken, lemon fish, rice and something else that was totally forgettable.

This place will always stay busy because of the high volume of tourists in the area, but its pretty crap IMHO

Beer was cold though

OKay the place looks cool and it is a nice place to hang out but for some reason the service is never that great and I have always waited a long time for the food.

So rather than go for a meal here sometimes I take people here to chill out, have a drink and a few snacks. Works okay - then no one feels like they are waiting forever for their food.

The house is cool and full of old knick knacks so tourists like to check the place out.
