That is, if less then 3 customers purchase tickets to a given movie, they cancel the movie. Not sure if this is a standard policy in Thai theaters but it's totally ridiculous. You have a customer that pays their way to the theater to watch a movie at a time advertised by the movie theater, and then they cancel it? Yes, they refunded my 120 baht ticket, and the 50 baht I spent on popcorn and soda, but still. I surely will not go to this theater again, especially during daytime hours. Too risky. Safer bet going to MBK, Siam Paragon, or Emporium for sure. The Plaza looked promising too as the Mall pretty much revolves around the movie theaters. There are movie posters throughout the mall, many waiting areas showing movie previews, and some premium options with their karaoke theaters. It's also less expensive overall than the big mall options. However, it's also a bit dated and rundown. I wish I could comment on the "inside the theater" experience but didn't get in and will not be going back.
