I had the misfortune of learning about their “minimum customers” policy. That is, if less then 3 customers purchase tickets to a given movie, they cancel the movie. Not sure if this is a standard policy in Thai theaters but it’s totally ridiculous.

You have a customer that pays their way to the theater to watch a movie at a time advertised by the movie theater, and then they cancel it?

Yes, they refunded my 120 baht ticket, and the 50 baht I spent on popcorn and soda, but still.

I surely will not go to this theater again, especially during daytime hours. Too risky. Safer bet going to MBK, Siam Paragon, or Emporium for sure.

The Plaza looked promising too as the Mall pretty much revolves around the movie theaters. There are movie posters throughout the mall, many waiting areas showing movie previews, and some premium options with their karaoke theaters. It’s also less expensive overall than the big mall options.

However, it’s also a bit dated and rundown. I wish I could comment on the “inside the theater” experience but didn’t get in and will not be going back. Any business with such a selfish policy that disregards the customer so is not worth spending money in.

Larry's has the best ribs in town and every Friday it is all you can eat. Every Friday they have all you can eat rib night for only 399 baht! I highly recommend it. The food and drinks are excellent.

We went there the other day and rated it 3 out of 5 on our foodie blog. Like several others here have said, the drinks were fine but the food left a lot to be desired. We described the breakfast as being "meagre". The fish and chips were OK, but they took an age to come and the place wasn't even busy. I'd go back again for a drink, but definitely wouldn't bother with the food again.

What was I doing here on a Monday ? Dance floor is closed on Monday. Took a date there who wanted to dance and found out too late no dancing on Mondays. Instead when upstairs to some 'chill-out' area. Couches and some DJ playing new-age jazz or some such shit. Had one beer and left. Altho very nice, not my scene.

I know I know..I said I wouldn't stay here again, but I needed a place for 1 night I it was easy and I didn't need a pool this trip. Same as before, I still like the near-ness to Cowboy. One good thing ...this time the internet connection was very very fast.

2 of us went here for a late-lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. Not many people there so the service was great. We split a Ceasar Salad and a Pepperoni Pizza. Both were fine. One thing I found interesting was the side of what looked like 'salsa' altho it wasn't spicy. I used it as a supplement to the 'no-tomato' salad and it was good. 1 salad, 1 pizza, 2 beers ran us 895.

I took the girlfriend there mainly to have a look. It was a weeknight and maybe a bit early. Not crowded at all. Very nice place. The service was a bit slow for my taste and the prices were way over the top. I had 2 beers while my date had some kinda cocktail. We had a plate of some mixed seafood type thing. I actually got a little bored as it was so quiet there. The bill was over 1000. I probably wouldn't go back unless invited.

I am a big fan of authentic Mexican and was pleasantly surprised with how authentic the food here is. I have not been to another place like this in Bangkok. It's not tex-mex or cali-mex or sw-mex, this is mexico city-mex. Great stuff. The fajitas I would not recommend if you like the TGIF Fridays version, which imo is better, but other than that, everything was great. The guacamole and chips/salsa were the best I've tasted in Bangkok. This is a small and cozy little restaurant and will now be a regular eating establishment in the future. Great job.

...and now for the review after seeing it in 3D at the IMAX, five stars. You cannot appreciate the brilliance of this movie when you watch the 2D version. Seeing it at the IMAX was an amazing experience.
