The pool is openair (I forget which floor) with a great view, but is far too small, and the gym is fairly cramped. The food by the pool was really good if a tad expensive, although you'd come to expect that in a city centre hotel. The location has to be the best in Bangkok along with the Sheraton across the road, as its right between Asok BTS and Sukhumvit MRT station. We had a deluxe suite which was really nice and spacious, however the guy travelling with me was a business travel agent, so we only paid 2,000baht a night for the room as apposed to the 10,000+baht going rate, and I would say I really dont think the room would be worth 10,000baht. Despite the few downsides, its still a very good hotel with an awesome location, with no issues with bringing back 'guests', however it does pale compared to the other 5stars in the city.
