I love stopping in here on my way to work to pick up the breakfast bagel sandwich deal. It only took a few visits before the staff started to recognize me and greet me by name. The location is super convenient when traveling on the BTS or the MRT. The seating up front next to the sidewalk is a great place to watch the morning rush of Silom office workers heading to work between 8 and 9 AM. Otherwise they've got some great lounge chairs in the back if you just want to kick back and read the paper.

Probably my favorite place to go and lounge with a cup of coffee in all of Bangkok. Location, location, location. And it doesn't get much better than this. The J-Avenue center is smack dab in the middle of Thong Lo which is one of my favorite neighborhoods in all of BKK. I've spent countless hours relaxing here and engaging in some of the best people watching to be had outside of Khao San Road. This location is very often frequented by the 'upper crust' and if you enjoy spotting beautiful people, this is the place for you. The large outdoor seating area lends this Au Bon Pain a healthy dose of the 'sidewalk cafe' feeling that is too often absent with other coffee shops here in BKK. Free up a few hours and check it out.

I've really enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere every time I've visited. A friend of mine turned me on to the place because they serve some of the best pancakes in town that we've found so far. The atmosphere is kinda quirky: part American diner/coffee shop, part Thai restuarant. A decent place to sit and enjoy a leisurely meal, the place starts to fill up around lunch time with elderly Thai women who have obviously been frequenting the place for years. If you're into pancakes, try the silver dollars!

Until I find something better this is my go to joint for a decent breakfast that never breaks the bank. pancakes, waffles, egss, good bacon and strong coffee. Service is spotty sometimes but that always is expected for a breakfast joint. With a few branches around town you can count on this place serving consistent grub. Still looking for the best american breakfast in town though...

If you are in the area and fancy some great coffee, interesting breakfast items or some yummy desserts - this is the place. I like hanging out with a paper and enjoying the laid back setting. I think Litte Home Bakery has the best breakfast for my taste but the desserts at after you are great. people watching is nice as well.

A convenient location next to the Nana BTS station for this Starbucks location. Otherwise it is notable only for it's bland, corporate atmosphere.

I frequent this location the most often out of all the Thong Lo Starbucks. Conveniently located a 5 minute walk from the Thong Lo BTS station. Good for people watching if you sit outside.

The most relaxed, cafe-like atmosphere of the Thong Lo Starbucks. I enjoy the expansive outdoor seating area when weather permits.

I enjoy having a drink and enjoying the people watching available due to the outside seating (a rarity in BKK). Best times for people watching are around the lunch hour due to all the office workers bustling about....

The bakery items are pretty tasty and the patio is a nice place to chill out. The coffee is good but the food does not really float my boat. Not a great working cafe though given the lack of power plugs and the strong arming of the local True office into making them implement a pay for play wifi system. lame lame all wifi should be free. true sucks
