Not Delia:
We went there the other day and rated it 3 out of 5 on our foodie blog. Like several others here have said, the drinks were fine but the food left a lot to be desired. We described the breakfast as being "meagre". The fish and chips were OK, but they took an age to come and the place wasn't even busy.
I'd go back again for a drink, but definitely wouldn't bother with the food again.

What was I doing here on a Monday ? Dance floor is closed on Monday. Took a date there who wanted to dance and found out too late no dancing on Mondays. Instead when upstairs to some 'chill-out' area. Couches and some DJ playing new-age jazz or some such shit. Had one beer and left. Altho very nice, not my scene.

Very good bar, nice live band and girls.

This place has dropped slightly in my estimation on 2 counts-both reflect my old and grouchy nature but that’s me! First would be the homebrew pints are consistently served way short of a full glass. Understand this is how the staff are instructed to serve but given you are being charged 160 Baht, why not charge 180 or 200 and give the customer the product as advertised. Avoiding wastage is one thing but serving the customer short is not on for. My second gripe would be allowing kids in the evening. Doesn’t sit right with me to have 9/10 year old kids running around or messing about on the pool table at 9 on Saturday night in a boozer, when the grown ups want to watch a match in peace. Understand this is acceptable in Thailand but personally I don’t like it a pub.
Shame as this is otherwise a great place.

Would love to rate this place higher as really liked the friendly staff, excellent food and the set-up here, but on both my visits here (admittedly late afternoon) it was too quiet to give the place some atmosphere. Also they seem to allow smoking inside, which just feels like a backward step to me.

Don’t be put off by the exterior which is desperate need of re-painting. This is an extremely well-run, pretty genuine Irish bar with excellent food, would recommend the monthly specials as being particularly good value. Food prices are on the high side but so is the quality and the portions are on the large side (no argument on the value front here)

aculate interior-someone has invested a lot of cash here. Pretty service girls in Oz sports kit not entirely unappealing. Only downside would be a touch expensive, was paying 190 Baht for a Coopers versus 150 in Bradmans.
Lemon Drop Kid:
Excellent spot, extremely well run, superb staff and decent food. Few times I’ve been it’s been on the busier pubs (reflecting the qualities above). Plenty of space and screens up of the first floor, if you can’t get a table in the main bar.

All I've done is drink here and mostly late afternoon/early evening. The bar service was good and attentive, but it's never been too busy when I've sat at the bar. The service at the table seating out front was OK. I do like sitting out front early evening for people watching. Nothing special as far as I'm concerned, but I need to go back later and see the band.
